In the beginning, the earth was empty and dark. That's where we begin. Fast forward thousands of years, and girls, our world still feels dark. The darkness that comes from sin and selfishness. Darkness that is full of sadness, hurt, and disappointment. 

But on that day, back in the beginning, God said "let there be light"; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. And that's where we really begin. 

Girls, you are the light. The light that can separate from the darkness. But it's a choice. One only you can make. But if you choose it, you can shine bright because...in the darkness, her light shines bright.
