Meet Cascia: HLSB Creator/Founder
I created HLSB because I want to help girls. Simple enough, yet the task is large. Like climbing an uphill battle, I want to go against the norms. Girls need content that is positive and uplifting. Content that doesn't leave them feeling sad, discouraged, or with negative thoughts. Content that teaches or inspires. It's what I would want for myself, when I was a girl. It's what I want for my daughter.
I feel called to help. First and foremost, as a fellow girl. Girls are pretty amazing. They need more people to tell them that. If you agree, join me on this adventure. We are just getting started!
P.S. If there's anything I love as much as girls, it's boys. I have two of them and they are pretty amazing too. Although this site is dedicated to girls, we (as a site) have nothing but love for boys. Boys struggle with different things, though. So for now, we address issues related to girls.
